CAREERS
Engineering Intern
Supports the Application Engineering team and
Outside Sales Engineers in the design, selection, and application of HVAC
equipment and systems. This position provides hands-on exposure to HVAC
products, system fundamentals, and the technical sales support process within a
manufacturer’s representative environment.
Essential Functions
Under the
guidance of Application Engineers and Outside Sales staff, the Engineering
Intern performs the following functions:

Assists with equipment selections and basic takeoffs
·
Supports submittal preparation and technical
documentation
·
Helps coordinate information with internal departments
(VCSS, Air Distribution, Controls, Parts, ECAD)
·
Learns and applies company software tools and
workflows
·
Gets exposure to construction industry business
practices
·
Participates in team meetings and project reviews
·
Supports data organization and documentation accuracy
·
Performs other duties or special projects assigned by
management
Competency

The Engineering Intern demonstrates the following competencies:

Ability to read and interpret construction
drawings and specifications

Foundational knowledge of mechanical systems and
building applications

This position is
intended to prepare candidates for future consideration for an Application
Engineer I role based on performance, skill development, and business needs.
Education
and Certification
·
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical
engineering, chemical engineering, engineering management, or other related
STEM discipline(s).
·
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,
Outlook) and general computer literacy are required.
·
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for
occasional factory or site visits.
